Mythological Love 101
I have gotten two of my favorite romance myths to share on this webpage.

Orpheus and Eurydice
A Greek myth in which a renowned musician named Orpheus travels to the underworld in hopes of reviving his recently deceased wife, Eurydice.
Eurydice dies by snake bite right after their wedding. Devastated, Orpheus travels to the Underworld and make a deal with Hades: if Orpheus can walk to the surface without looking back, Eurydice will return to life. Orpheus fails.,
Orpheus goes crazy from the grief and is murdered by a group of women. Death finally reunites him with Eurydice.
Cupid (Eros) and Psyche
A woman named Psyche is sacrifice to a mysterious beast who turns out to be the god Eros who has fallen in love with her.
She falls in love with his, but when she discovers his identity he runs away. To get him back Psyche is put through various trials by his mother
Aphrodite. She eventually passes all these trials, and they are reunited. Psyche becomes the greek god of soul.
